Fuel prices fall in Ghana for second consecutive pricing in August – ABN

Fuel Prices In Ghana

Fuel and petroleum consumers are all smiles as they head to oil marketing companies (OMCs) to fill up their tanks

This optimistic outlook is driven by some OMCs slightly lowering retail fuel prices at the pumps as the second pricing window for August begins.

This marks the second consecutive decline in fuel prices, following a similar reduction in the first pricing window earlier this month.

In this second pricing window of August, state-owned GOIL, for instance, is currently retailing petrol (Super XP) at GHȼ14.22, down from GHȼ14.42 in the first pricing window.

Diesel (Diesel XP), which was previously selling at GHȼ14.99, is now selling at GHȼ14.90.

It is expected that more oil marketing companies will reduce the prices of petroleum products at the pumps in the coming days.
