A Milestone Celebration with Purpose
As part of its 20th-anniversary celebrations and activities marking this year’s Customer Service Week, StarLife Assurance, Ghana’s leading indigenous life insurance company, has organised free health screenings for its cherished clients across several branch locations nationwide.
The initiative, designed to promote wellness and preventive healthcare, underscores StarLife’s unwavering commitment to protecting not just lives through policies but also through active care and community engagement.

Nationwide Exercise Promoting Wellness
The health screening took place at StarLife’s Customer Experience Centre in Accra and extended to branches in Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, Koforidua, Sunyani, Ho, and Tema.
Over 400 participants benefited from a wide range of medical services, including:
-
Blood pressure checks
-
Blood sugar and cholesterol testing
-
BMI measurements
-
Fasting blood glucose screening
-
General medical consultations
Participants also received health education on lifestyle improvement and disease prevention — an effort that aligned with StarLife’s goal of fostering a culture of proactive health management among its clients.
Putting Client Well-being First
Speaking at the Accra event, Bernice Quainoo, Chief Operations Officer of StarLife Assurance, highlighted the company’s deep sense of responsibility toward its clients’ health and well-being.
“As we celebrate two decades of excellence in life assurance, we recognise that true protection extends beyond policies. Health is central to the lives we insure, and this initiative is our way of giving back and showing genuine care for our clients’ well-being,” she said.
The company noted that the initiative reflects its core mission — “protecting lives and securing futures” — and serves as a reminder that life insurance goes hand in hand with good health and preventive care.
Customer Service Week: A Celebration of Value and Care
Customer Service Week, celebrated globally every October, honours the importance of service excellence and customer engagement. For StarLife Assurance, this year’s edition carried added significance as it coincided with the company’s 20-year milestone, a journey marked by innovation, integrity, and customer-focused growth.
Clients at various branches expressed appreciation for the exercise, describing it as “timely, thoughtful, and impactful.” Many said it reaffirmed their trust in StarLife’s brand as a caring and reliable partner beyond just insurance coverage.
StarLife’s 20-Year Legacy
Since its establishment two decades ago, StarLife Assurance has built a reputation as a pioneer in life assurance solutions in Ghana — combining technology, customer education, and financial literacy initiatives to meet evolving client needs.
As it celebrates its 20th anniversary, the company continues to invest in initiatives that enhance customer trust, deepen relationships, and promote long-term well-being.
With this latest health initiative, StarLife reaffirms its position as a customer-centric leader in Ghana’s insurance landscape — one that views life assurance as both a financial and social commitment.
